Installation location:

Behind the vehicle audio screen host, or vehicle power amplifier.

Function:

Convert external RCA audio signal to optical fiber signal, and transmit to the original car amplifier through optical fiber. The sound came from the sound of the original car.

For example: Mercedes-Benz W164, X164, W251 Harman Carton audio, orPorsche BOSE audio 2014-2016, when you need to replace the original car screen host, in order to retain the original car amplifier, you can choose to install optical fiber audio box.

Pay attention: when you connect the cable, you find that the sound is abnormal. Please note that this is not a problem with our fiber conversion module. because the vehicle's fiber communication system cannot communicate normally.

If there is no sound after installing the fiber optic box,Pls check it as following steps:

1: Confirm whether the power supply is connected well, measure with a multimeter, yellow --- battery power 12V, red --- ACC power supply 12V, black --- ground wire

2: Make sure the power supply is connected, check whether the red light at the fiber interface of the fiber box is on and blinking

3: In the optical fiber communication of the vehicle, all optical fiber signals must be able to communicate normally. Due to the damage of certain electrical equipment of the vehicle, the optical fiber communication is abnormal. At this time, the optical fiber signal of the damaged device needs to be short-circuited, Common examples are: 6-disc CD, telephone communication module, or directly install the optical fiber audio box to the original car's power amplifier, so that the original car's power amplifier can communicate with the optical fiber audio box normally.

4: The W164 power amplifier is located under the seat of the original driver, the Porsche Cayenne's power is placed on the right side of the original car's trunk, and the Porsche Cayman's power is placed under the original car's co-driver's seat.
